Rachel graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2022 with a degree in Law and Athropology. She then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course (LPC) and LLM in Legal Practice at BPP University.
Rachel is a member of the Filing Team and is responsible for handling client enquiries and managing her clients’ portfolios, conducting risk analysis, such as preparing full clearance searches and brand protection strategies, drafting trade mark specifications and various legal documents, and preparing and filing UK and International trade mark applications. She also is responsible for handling various intellectual property disputes.
Prior to joining the team at Trade Mark Wizards, Rachel discovered an interest in client-facing advisory work by participating in pro bono clinics throughout her time at university, enhancing her legal knowledge with hands-on practical experience. When combined with her keen interest and past work experience in Intellectual Property law, she finds that her role at Trade Mark Wizards perfectly compliments her strengths and passions.
Rachel is a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional with a keen interest in Intellectual Property law, backed by practical experiences in legal research and drafting. Due to her extensive experience with client-facing work, she is able to analyse and understand clients’ intellectual property protection needs and provide focused legal advice in response. She is committed to making legal advice as accessible as possible and particularly enjoys liaising with clients and providing detailed but digestible advice to help them reach vital decisions about their intellectual property protection.
Rachel has been recognised for her strong research skills, good client communication and approachability, proficient legal writing, and a capacity to swiftly understand and respond to intricate legal scenarios in real-time. She is committed to utilising these skills to contribute meaningfully to legal practice, with a particular focus on delivering exceptional client service.
